This book is listed as a general fiction
or action/adventure book, however I think the book deserves a catagory all
its own. I think paranormal mystery fits it better. For a first novel this
one is a good effort. It had a good plot and held my interst throughout the
read. It also had humor, which was nice, but not so much that it was cheezy
either. If you like paranormal romance, chick literature, or mysteries with
a bit of a twist, I highly recommend trying this new author out!

This is an amazing book. I read it first in grade school, but it made such a lasting impression that I have since purchased it and reread it. Its a real eye opener and personal account as to what happened to the POWs and MIA's in the Vietnam told through an account of one man's story. An unimaginable and very graphic story that really hits home and gives you a whole new respect for what our service men dealt with during the war, and even years later if they were unlucky enough to have gotten caught. I have read this book a couple of times, this one is a keeper for any library collection. Its words and message certainly stand the test of time.
